We're the Guasconi di Villamena family, an ancient Florentine family that has been active in public life since 1314 and was decorated in 1789 with the title of Marquesses of Villamena by Ferdinand IV, King of the Two Sicilies.
We are the longstanding owners of the Vigliano Bio Farm in Siena
and
the Panzano Bio Farm in Mugello, Florence.
I'm Federica, and my husband Guglielmo and I take personal charge of our rural tourism business: Guglielmo runs the farming side: sowing, harvesting and our vineyards, and together we run the family pasta factory, the organic shop at Vigliano Bio and all the events associated with our organic products.
We personally welcome guests to our accommodation at Vigliano Bio;
you'll be looked after and assisted throughout your stay.
Our Panzano Bio guest house in Barberino di Mugello is run by my sister-in-law Gemma, who receives guests at Villa Panzano, and takes care of our olive plantation and hunting reserve.
Guglielmo is an essential part of all the various activities of our family business.
Vigliano Bio
in the hills of Siena, is our organic rural accommodation,
just 9 km from the city of Siena.
It has two guest houses, the farmhouses Podere Cartaio and Villa Poggio al Sole: the houses are for the exclusive use of guests, with private swimming pools, or cosy apartments/rooms in the villa.
A third farmhouse, Podere Le Casacce, is home to our family pasta factory.
You're in the hills of Siena in the Merse valley: 15 minutes from the city of Siena, 40 minutes from San Gimignano, Volterra and Val d'Orcia and an hour from Florence, Arezzo and the Maremma, with the beautiful coasts of Tuscany and the Argentario promontory.

in the Florentine hills of the verdant Mugello area, at the foot of the Calvana mountains and just 20 minutes from Florence.

Today the building is a guest house with 8 beds; a delightful historical villa for our guests’ exclusive use.
Florentine hills in the Mugello region, between the towns of Barberino, Borgo San Lorenzo and Scarperia, just 10 minutes from exit A1 of the motorway and 15 minutes from the Mugello race circuit and outlet centre.
The properties are located in two different areas of Tuscany, easily accessible and convenient bases for travel to all the region's main tourist destinations.

Our estates are certified organic and family run, and in 2014 we completed the production chain with our own family pasta factory, located at the heart of our Vigliano Bio property, surrounded by our own fields and just a few kilometres from the centre of Siena.
The restoration of
Podere Le Casacce on the Vigliano Bio estate in Siena allowed us to begin the refurbishment of the original 19th-century farmhouse, where we have based our artisan production facility.
Here we carry out some associated activities: direct sales, educational workshops, themed events and organic tasting sessions with our own products.
At our organic pasta factory at Podere Le Casacce, we transform our raw ingredients, grown right here on the farm.
Today our company focuses on organic agriculture and hospitality.
